Alhamdullilah.. Here comes the wonderful month of Ramadhan. The month of cleansing body and soul. The month of countless blessings, forgiveness and mercies.
Apart from fasting and performing solat tarawih, most of us will automatically switch into Hari Raya mode even though Hari Raya will only be about a month from now. I'm in Hari Raya mood already =p
People is starting to inquire about the gifts. They plan to give it to their loved ones, family, friends, relatives, neighbours, colleagues, business associates, clients and charity homes. It's their way of expressing gratitude feelings, instilling good attributes to people they care about and also extending contribution to the less fortunate. Thoughtful people, indeed.
Giving gift or hamper becomes a custom in the month of Ramadhan, especially when it is closer to Syawal. As for me, i'm enjoying myself decorating and preparing the hampers as i can feel the excitement and the spirit of giving. We'll have additional selection of hampers if time permits, so that you'll have more choices and more people to give! =)
Having said that, gifts do not just come in hampers or boxes. Volunteering our time, donating to charities and visiting the sick or elderly can be the greatest gifts of all.
